Sapori (literally Taste) is the latest opening on the Blackpool dining scene. Located centrally on Clifton Street, Sapori has brought stylish and contemporary Italian dining to the Fylde Coast.
The stunning interior, passionate staff and varied menu offer the chance for customers to experience smart city centre-style dining at great value. The menu spans an eclectic mix of pizzas priced at under £7, oven-baked pastas, again under £7, and a wide range of innovative a la carte dishes (£10-£16). These are complemented by home-made desserts and a comprehensive wine selection.
Executive Chef Vincenzo Papa offers fresh, irresistible Italian cuisine, blending traditional flavours to create exciting, modern dishes. With 25 years experience, cooking in some of the areas best restaurants, Vincenzo has now found a new home for his well-honed skills. Expect starters such as Piatto per Due – a sharing plate of Bruschetta, Parma ham, spicy Italian salami, olives, pate, mozzarella Caprese, gravadlax smoked salmon and prawns, their signature pasta Penne Sapori – penne pasta in a bacon, chicken, tomato, red onion and chilli sauce finished with a touch of cream and 10 different steak dishes like Filetto al Barolo – fillet steak wrapped in Parma ham served in a rich Barolo wine sauce or fresh fish and seafood options like Gamberoni – king prawns cooked in a sauce of garlic, tomato and a hint of cream, finished with Gran Marnier.
Very family friendly, there is a separate childrens menu offering a choice of any pizza or pasta, chicken or fish goujons and ice cream for just £4.95. Larger parties are very welcome and they have a special table called ‘Con Amici’ which is perfect for larger family meals or small groups of friends to dine together. Open 7 days a week from 5pm–11pm
